Hotel De Bergse Bossen features 65 commodious single and double rooms all of which include shower, TV, radio and telephone. All rooms are located on the ground floor and very quietly situated in the woods of "De Utrechtse Heuvelrug", only 9 miles from Utrecht and 25 miles from Amsterdam. The hotel houses a cosy cafe, open well after midnight. In the buffet-style-restaurant we present breakfast, lunch and dinner in an informal setting.

Convenience, location, cleanliness

Yes! Service could be a lot more friendly and welcoming. My partner who is from Argentina, was flabbergasted by the coldness, matter of fact but very impersonal and unpleasant way guests were welcomed: unhelpful, very inflexible, a huge difference with what we are accustomed to in the US where we live. Staff would benefit a lot from basic training in hospitatlity

The personnel was very friendly. Eevn though, the kitchen was closed because of my late arrival. they were very kind to prepare me a great salad and nice toasts. After 10 all the restaurants are closed in the driebergen by the way.

i enjoyed the hotel because it had free internet access.And all the rooms where on the level floor so i didn't have to climb no stairs with my lugage.

Quietness, but still good location. Evening buffet very good if not so cheap.

Hairdryer not in room, can ask at reception though. Evening buffet finishes early.

Quite location, non-smoking rooms only.

Only very small "finding": restaurant offers buffet dinner only (but a very good one, for 24,80 Euro).

De lounge. Veel lektuur aanwezig. O.a. diverse kranten. Gratis internetten. Rustig hotel. Natuurlijke omgeving.

Ontbijt: te weinig luxe beleg. Geen warm beleg, zoals: gebakken spek, gebakken eieren.
