Hotel was convenient for going out We had a room on the front and it was very noisy. There was no double glazing to reduce the noise. Also the room was a little small with the bed pushed up in one corner. The Batroom was clean but some tiles were broken and the shower area was a little stained. The sink drained away very slowly and we reported it to the reception but nothing was done about it. |

Superb location - less than 5 minutes from Centraal Station. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Elevator in hotel (which is, I guess, a luxury in old Amsterdam buildings. The breakfast itself was ok. But the lady during the weekends could use some training and lessons on basic hygiene. It is hard to enjoy your meal when you see someone sneezing into her hand, then wiping the floors and tables and then touching the cheese and bread with the same hands without bothering to wash them or use gloves. This happened more then 5 times each morning. |

the location was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. the room was awful, it was like a dungeon with no natural light, there was a window but it faced directly into another room (apprx. three feet away). had to remember to pull the curtain before turning on the light. we asked about another room but it would have cost more, |

Location: Ideally located within a walking distance from the Central Station. Staff: Warm welcome at check in. Rather Quiet except for drunk Britons who walked drunk at 4 am. First of all: the price! It's totally overrated. 75 € is the maximum I would pay for that kind of room, not 150 € !!!! And I would expect more confort for that price. Check out time: 11 o'clock. Lift is very narrow but at least, there is a lift. |
